I posted a version of this shot on another site a long time ago, and other shots here on Naturescapes from this same morning near Chenega Glacier during a kayaking trip last summer. In the earlier version, I tried to bring out some of the detail in the trees, but that didn't look real, so I just re-scanned it. The glacier detail and jpg compression aren't too compatible. Velvia 50, Canon Elan 7e, probably 100-400 IS, around 4 am. Hammer away! Thanks for your comments and suggestions.
