Capture: Canon 1Ds, 16-35 @ 20mm
Location: Elk Island National Park, Alberta, Canada

This was taken last year in early January - something to look forward to (or not). A few days later there was a heavy snowfall and all the patterns were covered for the winter.

Very nice! I like the perspective of the open vastness of the lake.

Great shot, Eric! Love the subtle hint of color in the sky. The fg, well, that just speaks volumes...lovely!
Shoot in RAW because memory is cheap, but memories are priceless.

Eric, you sure use your wide angle lens to it's full potential. This is really nice. I like that little X in the LLC for some reason. Beautiful starkness.
