Lavender skies

Well, I have never seen a photo of lavender aurora. That is until last night :)
I couldn't believe my eyes with all of the colors and the rapid changes last night. Turned red and green shortly after this. I will post one of those tomorrow.
EOS 1Ds, 24-70mm L at f/2.8, 24mm, ISO 1000, 20 sec, auto white balance. In PS, levels and USM.

Hi Will. This is about what the borealis looked like here in southern Illinois. Wish I would have recorded something this nice. What I really like about this is the stars. This is subtle and soft and very beautiful.
