Robert, metered through the camera at minus 2/3, took the shot, and then confirmed with the LCD that there were no blinking white highlights.

No filters were used.

One of my favorite places on Earth, only second to Jasper-Banff, My first encounter with a mountain goat was here(Glacier National Park) after seeing him from a distance, I went in search of a photo opportunity and he popped maybe 5 feet away from me, at the edge of a precipice, I had a 300mm lens on the F4 at the time, had to run back in knee deep snow, and change lenses, got the 50mm on, ran back there and he posed for me for about 10 minutes, surreal to be exact!!, Who knows were the film is at this time!!!
Marvelous Chas!!!, Thanks for the memories !!!

looks like an awesome place and a nice scene. A polarizer would have taken some of the reflection off of the water and blued it up - that would be my personal preference but its very nice as is.

The week after SD-LOL
Drove directly home, and jumped back on a plane to MT the next day.

Great shot Chas. Between this and the mountain goat shots, it was well worth your hike.
