This image was posted about 6 months ago at another site, but I thought it would be a good fit for this week's motif...

Please hammer on! I want to learn from your honest critique. Reposts welcome.

Thanks for looking,

Anders

Cool textures. Do wish the ULC was sharper.

Ken,

Thanks for pointing this out. I hadn't seen this before. I did actually selectively sharpen the URC originally, but never noticed the left.
Here is a version with the left area selectively sharpened some more.
Does it help?

Yes, I think it balances the image with that corner agreeing withthe other areas.

Excellent shot, especially the repost! Not much to hammer on here - I really like it - a lot!

This is especially neat. Plenty to examine closer with nice subtle gradiations throughout the photo. In my mind it's probably bettter not to know what object(s) this is before hand, which adds a little mystery. It stands a lone as a nice abstract.

Very striking. I would love to see this in a print.

Beautiful textures in this. I love the shadows in this one as it highlights the lines of the composition. The warm browns are very pleasing to my eyes.
