Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mk III, 12-100mm f/4 @23mm, 1/5000 sec., f/5.6, ISO: 200.
Spent 2 full days in Death Valley (29th & 30th) this week. I'm getting old so I'm less inclined to climb even easy dry falls in canyons by myself - getting up is usually pretty easy for the ones I was interested in doing ... it's the coming down part that gives me the willies. Maybe next year . I did an easy 5 mile loop up Golden Canyon, detoured to a loop further up into the Badlands, and came down via Gower Gulch. That was on Monday. On Tuesday I chickened out doing a couple of "easy" dry falls (easy for someone under 3/4 of a century old) in two canyons - Desolation Canyon and Mosaic Canyon. Any of you who've been to those canyons know how easy the first dry falls of each are. If I'd been with someone - like my brother - I might have tried to climb them but, like I said, I'm just not brave enough. There are people in the image but they appear so small that I figured this would work in this gallery. If I'm wrong about that I hope the moderators simply move it to the appropriate gallery.
