Mimalayan Mountains - Ladakh, India

Himalayas pretty in pink from a glorious sunrise on the first morning in the remote mountains of northern India. This peak rises to nearly 22,000 feet (6700 meters), I am standing at about 14,000 feet (4300 meters) for this shot...

Magical! What a gorgeous view and that delicate rosy dawn light is the perfect finishing touch.

The lovely soft pink is a wonderful contrast with the forbidding snowy mountains. Striking shot!

Absolutely love the pink sky. The centered peak gives a strong feeling of power. Is that a cloud or blowing snow coming off the peak on the top right?

I think it's a cloud but I can't say that with 100% certainty.  By the way this is the tallest mountain on Earth that you can hike a simple trail to the summit of.

I'm good to about 17K without supplemental oxygen (5200 meters), I would have to go to Peru or something to train for those last 3000 ft and chew on Coca leaves :)
