Another waterfall shot from the beautiful county of Yorkshire.
Not too sure in these situations on whether the distant falls should be cropped out so the viewer can focus on just one.Opinions anyone?

I think this perspective works fine. With the foreground falls in the right power point the background falls help to provide a visual balance in the left upper power point.

I do like the upper falls, it has somewhere for the eye to go. Maybe a higher vantage would help the rock from obscuring part of the upper falls.

Just love the water texture and detail visible in the full size view.
Do agree with Wade...just a tad higher to get the full view of the upper falls would be nice if possible.

A gorgeous setting and image, I would leave this image as is as I think the presence of the distant falls allows the viewer's eye to move easily through the image to the foreground drama. You could try reshooting the image more from the left to exclude the distant falls but I wouldn't just recrop this image.

Definitely keep the upper falls. Without them, the shot would not be as interesting. The color of the water is interesting. Do you know if it’s minerals or vegetation coloring the water?

As far as I know it is caused by peat deposits, which I suppose is the same as minerals/vegatation.

Great looking location, and composition. I'd imagine there are many compositions to explore. Autumn colors, in those background trees would send this image to another level. A great excuse to go back :)

Beautiful scene and composition, just right as presented - but you knew that anyway.  :)

Would not change it at all. I like that the eye can start at the top and follow down to the lower right. The color of the water on the falls really makes this image for me.
