I took a trip to White Pocket in the Vermilion Cliffs National Monument a couple of weeks ago, as a part of my local bucket list in my home state of Arizona. Not far from the better known Coyote Buttes area, White Pocket features an alien-like landscape created as a result from petrified sand dunes. A long four wheel drive road through deep sand makes this area an adventure for sure.
See it here full-screen to better appreciate: White Pocket Pano D800e 52mm f8 iso200 1/125s three images merged in Lightroom. Thanks for looking and any comments! Wade "One touch of nature makes the whole world kin."
