Taken back during the big fires of Summer 2003. All that stuff in the sky is smoke. It has a magenta/purple/cyan cast but that is how the light was. It looks abnormal to correct it. The sun is down as well

The slight colorcast does not bother me at all, and I can imagine that it would be difficult to try and correct it. If that is the way the light looked, then why bother.
Wonderful composition and details, and the light works fine for me! 8)

Ken, did you have to holler at any other photographers to get out of your way when you were setting up for this??? I really like the way you composed this, but my only gripe is that when I looked through your viewfinder the scene seemed a lot brighter and the grasses were much greener (the problem with Fresnel lenses?). I will have to post some of the results I got on my ground plexiglass.
