Very nice shot. I love the feeling it invokes.
Is the far shoreline distorted (barrel/pincushion, I get them confused) or is it actually that shape?

neil,
the far shore arcs around from the right to left. i did have a perspective distortion issue with this image and was able to straighten the right side reflected trees. the left side still shows some perspective distortion but i couldn't go farther in correcting because the distortion was starting to go in the opposite direction. just trouble with a wide angle i guess.

Wonderful light and colors. The frosting on the cake is the way the water between the grass in the foreground curves into the picture from the lower right, and the clouds curve out of it to the upper left. A pleasure to look at.
A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.

Very well done. I like the way the water in the foreground leads you into the shot.

The reflection and also the curving water path through the grass really captures my attention. Wonderful color, great composition, fantastic subject.
