Please honest comments requested. I like the composition and subject matter but am very undecided if it works together.

I really like this. The pink flowers give a splash of bright color. I like how well balanced the composition is with the flowers and the falls each filling about half the frame, with the diagonal separating them. My eye comes in to the pink and follows right back to the falls and is nicely "held in" to the frame with the greenery around the edges. Has a good sense of depth. It works for me!

Very nice. On my monitor there is a slight bluish cast to the water which is common in shady conditions.

very nice image !

i also would opt to 'warm' the image up a little as it shows some blue cast...

i would move the camera/tripod a bit more to the left to make the transition from flowers to cascade a bit more progressive (less abrupt) - but only if there's room to move there :) - this would lessen the impact of 'competition' between the two elements and would help lead the eyes naturally from one to the other - just my opinion :)

thanks everyone for your comments. they are truly appreciated.

gigo: warming it up a bit may help. i couldn't move to the left without going for a swim. i was perched on a 45 degree rock next to the river. if i wasn't alone at the time, i might have been more adventurous.

Wonderful shot Jim. I especially like the flat rock behind the flowers (to the upper right) that separates them from the waterfall. Really great shot!
