Icefields Parkway
Banff NP, AB, Canada
Most of the days I was in Banff were overcast; the first time I drove the Icefields parkway it started foggy and then lifted as I was heading north. I'm not sure what mountain this is, just pulled over on the side of the road as the wispy fog started to look interesting.

Hi Cindy,
I like this shot a lot. I like how the rising fog is revealing the mountain behind with a hint of blue sky. I do find my eye drawn to the upper right corner due to the brighter fog. I wonder if a slightly different angle may have minimized that and also prevented the merge of the tallest tree with the mountain ridge line.

I like the overall comp. I also wonder how this would look as a B&W.

This is nice, very ethereal. The simplicity of the elements is what grabs my attention here. I also agree with Chris Earle concerning the tall tree breaking the ridgeline; I think that this lovely photograph would be improved if the treetop had been contained within the mountain background.
