I went to bed pretty early... 4AM this morning!

This is one of my favorites. Taken about 3AM.

Anyway, we had a decent show last night/this morning. Shot about 130 images and have about 40 decent ones.

10D, 28mm @ 2.2, ISO 400, 13 seconds

Ken,

Of course any aurora shot is an accomplishment in itself. This shot contains a bit too little to make a real impression on me though.

Just my 2 cents...

I quite like it. Bottom maybe a little dark but the line of colour is cool.

Id have to agree with Ander's here but it is still nice as said. Have you any of these with say a tree being very dominate in the fg taking up one side or the other of the frame? Just curious as i see you tend to place a low horizon in alot of these shots.

This display and the last one were a bit higher in the sky. And they were relatively weak displays with lots of moisture in the air.

Anyway, I thought the single vertical structure was cool. Especially how it goes from green to whitish to magenta.

I like this, but I think I like the previous less subtle photos better.

This is interesting with the color change- given I have seen aurora only once I like to see pics of the different manifestations. However I also like some of the previous posts better.
