Tranquil Stream, Black and white

This is the same stream but a different composition and this time in black and white. What do you think of the composition? The black and white treatment? Your thoughts are most welcome, thanks so much!

The composition is fine. In fact it is a nice image. I just prefer B & W images shot on b&w film, the dynamic range is just so much broader. Here the fron rock looks a bit flat to me.
