Ah yes, the Ca coast with the fog rolling in! I like your composition and the colors. I am not crazy about the lack of detail in the lower left corner, probably being a scan doesn't help that.

Very nicely done. I do question the exposure choice. Nothing is even remotely close to the lens so there was no need for f/13. f/8 would have easily rendered everything in focus (actually f/2.8 would have) and then you could have gone to a less noisy ISO of say 100. The lower the ISO, the smoother the image and the bigger it will blow up. The only reaon to use 400 would be if there wasn't enough light to render the scene at a lowe ISO - at least that's my philosophy :) Sorry for the long response :D

E.J... I totally agree with all of your points regarding exposure etc... I would hope that I woud do it more like you discribe today, however in September I was re-introducing myself to photography after taking about ten years off (other interests + tired of film processing, etc) and was not aware enough to evaluate all the setting ramifications... I was just excited about digital photography (still excited and hopefully learning daily with the help of true artists like you!).

Thanks for your input and time,
- Vince
