I have ironed out my scanning problems and am ready now to continue posting.

This is a small pond in a grove on Tuolumne Meadows in Yosemite. It is still partially frozen, although it's mid-May. The sky is overcast, which allowed me to get this image without too much contrast.

A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.

The light on the trees in the upper portion of the frame is really sweet. I don't find the foreground terribly compelling, but it does show how slow things are to thaw in the mountains. Thanks for posting this.
