Duckweed Paradise Pond, Port Aransas TX

Landscape is the best guess classification for this one, I guess.

I was hanging around just before sunset trying to shoot a few warblers that didn't cooperate at all.

The reflection of the sun in the water and the duckweed caught my attention.

The hard greens and soft golden oranges are wonderful. One of the neatest reflections shots I've seen

I see two great contrasts in this. The sharpness of the duckweed against the blurry reflections, and the strong colors contrasting with the overall dreamy feel of this picture. Very pleasant to look at.

Very different and well done. The contrast of colors and smooth/textured is interesting and out of the box.
