I think the rain helped this to be saturated and lush feeling. The splash of pink really adds. This says spring to me, I like it a lot.

Gorgeous, the splash of pink really livens this one up!

I like hte pink glowing against the lush green BG. Only minor nit is the messy URC. Those bare branches bother me a small bit.

I agree with Ken. As a thumbnail where that URC is tough to see it looks outstanding. The bare branches unbalance the image left to right for me. I do like the splash of color though.

While the dark branches in the upper right hand corner appear out of place, they really aren't. It was rainy (which accounts for how dark they are) and windy. In that situation there was already some "disruption" and I think they show that. Almost wish, though, for a little more wind to make the storm a bit more obvious.

Very nice, Dick. The foliage has an amazing glow in the spring after a rain.

dick,
after hearing your explaination about the branches in the URC, i must say that i still feel like it creates an unbalanced feeling in the image. i feel that it could have been eliminated and thus would have made a much stronger image.
