Sand Island Sea Caves, Apostle Islands National Lakeshore, WI

I decided to crop one of these into pano format...

If you walk/wade thru the opening left of center, you would enter the room where my previous post was taken from.

Still a cool location, but I'm not liking this one as much as the others you've posted. It seems a little too dark and the lines seem too chaotic.

cheers,
Eric

I like this series you have shown us Ken.
They all show me something that I have not seen, and I appreciate them all!
Not as striking as the others, but still I like it!

An interesting image but I think all the darkness leaves lots of area with no detail.

I don't like this one as much as the others. It's too dark in places where I want to see detail.

I agree with all of you. I am not as happy with this one as the others posted (The big crop from 645 should show my trying to make it better...) :D

Here's a comment fmr one who has not seen the others images...

The pictures makes me want to go there, but as a photo I want less deep shadow. Also, the water, instead of having an inviting softness, feels out of focus and bothers my eye since it is at odds with the strongly detailed upper wall that I want it to balance instead.

When it opened my first thought was that I should really like it, but something wasn't quite there. These are my best thoughts as to what isn't working for me.

Another beauty, Ken...although I do prefer your others to this one.
Shoot in RAW because memory is cheap, but memories are priceless.
