Nice shot. The black sky looks awesome. You used the fence wonderfully.

Mahesh, really creative! I really like how you framed the fence through the gate.

Powerful sky Mahesh. Did you find this shot out in Eastern Washington? Recalling your earlier bridge picture, I wonder if you ever get to shoot structures before they fall down  . Anyways this is very sweet and works well in B&W.

Looks kind of like the worn fences along Morman Row in the Tetons. Where was this taken? It is very good!

Like your subject very much. Good composition and great sky. I don't like the over polarization of the upper part though! Choice of B&W is excellent for this scene!

Well done. As an ex-b&w photographer, I like the rich tones that you have here. The sky would have been called over-polarized if this were in color but it really works in black and white.

Nice job - I like how you've positioned the opening in the fence relative to the clouds. I also like the way the topsy-turvy curves of the fence seem to mimic the clouds.

I like this very much, for the reasons that Eric gave above. Great choice to render in B&W. I love the black sky - in fact the image has an infrafed quality to it that kicks it into high gear for me. Nice work.

Very dynamic image! Great range of tones too and sharp. I think the opening in the fence is placed very nicely in the frame. Well done and one of the best B&W images I've seen recently.

Thanks, Svein! I actually prefer the effect of the polarizer here...if it was in color, then I'd agree with you, but in b&w, I think it works well. The dark sky is angled just like the foreground fence and the distant fence.

Thanks, Ted! You're the second person I've shown this image to who has thought it has a kind of IR feel to it...hum...
