Taken while wandering around Dave's Falls in northern WI. When I saw these rocks I immediately thought of Robert's images although the water isn't moving as much.

Very nice Ken, and thanks :D To critique, a slightly lower angle wouldve of worked but this is fine as is. Nice placement of the rocks in the water also. I also cant help but think if a longer exposure wouldnt have added to the image. Still like it though

Ken,

Nice one but as Robert suggested a longer exposure might make an interesting but entirely different image.

Nice Ken,

As I was watching the image I thought 'yes, this is similary to a real 'Hasty', but I think he would have used a longer exposure to smoothe the water more'...

And as you say yourself, faster running water might also have done it.

Nice!

Nice color and composition. Was the water really bluish purple like that or is it just the way Velvia 100F rendered it. The only reason I'm asking is that I find it's color palette rather strange.

Interesting colors...is the blue from the reflected blue sky, I wonder? I like the colors very much.
Shoot in RAW because memory is cheap, but memories are priceless.

Dan, that color is from the sky reflecting.
