I was lucky enough to stay at Flatford Mill a couple of years ago and took the opportunity to take some photographs of 'Willy Lott's' cottage where the Haywain was painted. This is the view today.
And here is Constable's masterpiece: http://www.mezzo-mondo.com/arts/mm/cons ... OJ001.html You can see the end of the cottage hasn't changed very much! (Is that JC rolling in his grave that I can hear?) Not his style, just his subject matter. Oh, and can you spot the avian interest! PS7/Painter. Clive
