Just a Mallard

This one is from a few weeks ago. It looks like its going to be a few weeks before I'll be able to shoot again as I'm sending in my gear for some repairs. I like this one because of the light and how you can really see the subtle shapes and depth in the head. I'm curious what the rest of you think about it. Comments, critiques and reposts welcome and appreciated.

This is a beautiful image of a Mallard, Michael! I only feel that the saturation needs to be increased. I played with it, increased it to +27 and it pops up the whole image, specially nice on the green of its head.

Michael,

This is a very nice shot. I like the graceful pose. The fill flash looks like it helped alot in a tough lighting situation. Well done.

Are you sure this is a real duck? He's so perfect he almost looks like a really good decoy! That green head is beautiful!
