Hovering Ring-bill

I made a stop at the dam on the WI river today to see if the eagles had arrived yet. They may have, but there were none at the dam--but there was a very loud and large flock of Ring-billed Gulls there, feeding on small fish and fish bits that come through the darn turbines. I caught this guy hovering briefly and looking for a snack. I really liked the look of the rough water right below him.

Thanks for the comments, everyone...as for exposure, I knew I would blow the whites on the gull with the 20D's meter, so since I was shooting in Av mode, I set the camera for -1EV that seemed to do the trick.
