Got this Ixobrychus sinensis at Macabebe wetlands (Pampanga Province, Philippines). I'm glad that the 20D's AI servo held on despite the busy BG of tall grasses.

20D + 400 5.6L, 1/1600 sec, f/7.1, ISO 400, manual exposure, AI servo centerpoint

I'll bet! This is pretty unbelievable. I'd like to see this with a little more enviorment below and in front of him. This tight centered crop took away the liveliness of his flight. A truly unbelievable capture. :) :)

This takes digital avian photography up to a whole new level. This is just sick! The clarity and color fidelity are insane. Perfect in every way. :) :)

The thumbnail, description, and comments above really make me want to see this image, but all I'm getting is a red X. :(

I'm also getting the red X, but luckily did get to see it yesterday; all I can say is, get the red X problem fixed because everyone's missing a rare and spectacular image !

Way to go Romy, I love the wings in the down position. I agree that more room around the bird would be nice in this one. If you keep that center sensor on the subject the 20D will hold servo AF just fine!

Congrats on one sweet image.
