A gorgeous weekend in Ontario had me out shooting a fair bit. I got some better shoveler files that I was hoping for and even found a cooperative kestrel yesterday. But for some reason this image is one of my favourites. I like the tone to the water. Let me know what you think.

Backround color and the Gadwall are very complimentary... beautiful detail also Glenn. I can see why it's a favorite! :)

Glenn, definately a very nice shot. Nice warm colors and peaceful mood. I would rotate it a little more counter-clockwise.

Very nice image of a very nice duck. Agree with the CCW rotation and I would place the duck further to the right as it is pretty much dead center now

Sweet light and colors! :) Agree about the rotation and it looks a bit oversharpened to me.

Lovely duck on a complimentary and artful background. Seems a tad tilted, as others mentioned. Sweet light.

Fantastic image of this species. Minor stuff already mentioned, rotate it and crop it a bit more off the top and bottom to pano and this one would really sing.

The nits have been covered. Aside from them....this is just downright superb. The head turn, colors, detail....and gorgeous water would make this one a favorite of mine. Excellent job!

Glenn,

I like the comp as presented, agree it is tilted. I love the head turn, great detail and complimenting water. Great Job!
