My friend Nevil Lazarus and I had a lovely morning with these pretty birds about 80 km North of Sydney.

Comments and reposts are welcome.

What a stunning bird! Good comp and I like the way the bird and perch are both in the same direction. He really pops with this BG! Nice image Ofer!

Great shot Ofer. :)

Steve, you guys have a great selection of colorful warblers that we don't have.

Killer shot, and amazing an Australian Bee-eating Warbler!!!!

The clarity of your images is very distinctive mate, a real talent...jealously,

Ofer, this is staggering in every way. :)
I found the Blue-throated BE to be wonderful fliers; I imagine these to be equally as good.

Wow, lovely image, Ofer!

Just one very minor nit…part of the back feathers look quite bright on my monitor and that is where my eye went first. A minute with the burn tool could fix that though.

Beautiful color, and BG!

Thanks for sharing!

Stuning image of a beautiful bird. The colors are breathtaking. You got a wonderful composition, an excellent perch and a background that really helps bring those colors out.

Wow... I love this Ofer. I like the way the portion of the perch below the BE is shadowed adding dramatic impact to the image. The eye contact is killer also... big congrats! :)

Hi all, Thanks for your comments!
For those of you who mentioned the blue is a bit hot - well, this is exactly the effect I hoped to get as it is an irdescent blue
