repost, the comp looks much better, am not sure about the head though...

Canon 1DMkII, 500 f/4 IS, ISO 400, 1/1000 @ f/6.3 (incident meter)
This image is from a STL workshop this past summer.

Oh man, this is georgeous Kim! I think i'd prefer 2:3 ratio with a bit more on left and right (with more on left)

I was having a hard time trying to figure out a good crop for this. It's full frame except for some cropped off the right. I could try adding some to the left but don't know if my PS skills are that good!

Absolutely stunning Image Kim. Killer golden water and I like the bow wave. I think the Shadows are opened up just a bit to much though as the blacks appear a bit muted. The again maybe it's just my calibration. In any event I would love to have shot this image. Big Congrats!

I agree with Chris...awesome photo, and a classic 2:3 ratio would be perfect....
