Eurasian Buzzard - Buteo buteo

First, this picture was not taken in the zoo or other kind of captive (like all my pictures).

It was amazing, this fellow was hanging arround me for about two hours,
maybe he was tired from a long journy, I don't know the reason,
but it gave me a rear opportunity to take any picture that I wanted from my track!

After two hours I went out from my track to check if something wrong,
but thw buzzard flew away and it looked fine to me.

All my birds' pictures were taken in nature.

You certainly made the best of a rare opportunity here Elroyie.

What a fantastic shot with a wonderfully sympathetic ally coloured background.

Glad to hear that the bird was ok too. 8)

Wonderful experience you had, Elroyie!
Good use of dof and like the bg that complements well with the bird color ...

Excellent shot! A flash could bring out the beauty of the eye even better.

A fantastic opportunity, that you made the most of here. A wonderful portrait with the perfect bg.

Not sure about flash for the eye, but maybe I would selectively brighten it (although I'm on an uncalibrated monitor at work right now so I could be wrong)

Glad to hear the bird was ok, as you say probably a tired migrant.

THis is a fine shot Elroyie. I'm sure spending the time with this bird was an equally wonderful and rewarding experience as getting a shot like this. Did you get any portraits as well?
