Eurasian Curlew Numenius arquata (orientalis)
Mai Po Nature Reserve, Oct-01-2005
EOS10D, EF500mm f/4 L IS USM, EF1.4 II, f/7.1, 1/1000s, ISO200, slight crop, camera RAW

I have take numerious "sleepy" shots on human subjects, but for birds, especially in-flight, this is probably the very first time. :D I guess I was exteremely lucky. :roll:

Great image, not sure I like the blink though. I have many shots of Willets and Godwits in flight blinking and I usually trash them. Maybe I should keep a few. :D :idea:
