I haven't been out shooting much lately. I've been working on my floating hide and testing it a bit. Besides that I'm looking forward for my new camera to arrive next week and have some new inspiration to get out again! Meanwhile I'll post this female mallard during the test-period of my floating hide, nothing special, shot last week. I was quite surprised that this image was sharp at this shutterspeed, floating on the water.

Jasper,

Yes this subject may not be special but you have enhanced it by using the floating hide to give a very low angle on the shot.

A very clean and simple image. The ultra low angle really makes this one quite intimate. I would crop a bit all around.
