Another of our roller family of birds that has a special place with me. This one found in Pilanesberg Nature reserve. The perch not the best available, but then in Africa birds do not always sit where you'd like them to be :) The image is a bit hot due to time of day.

Av = f8
Tv = 1/1000
ISO 200
Evaluative -2/3
Full frame and rest is a bean bag on SUV window sill.

Neat looking character. I can see why you would like him. My only nit is the darkness of undershadow at base of chest. I wonder if a little fill flash would not have helped pull out a little more detail.

The dark shadow has already been mentioned, a little work in s/h would help
