I've not had much chance to shoot or post lately due to moving house, but I've still been lurking as much as possible.

Taken at Viera wetlands this weekend.
1D Mk II, 500f/4L with 1.4x, 1/1000 f/10 iso400

This was my first visit to Viera - probably not the best time of year to visit, but then again the ability to stay close to an air-conditioned vehicle at all times gives Viera a distinct advantage over many other Florida sites right now.....

Even though I was mostly shooting from the car, the birds at Viera seemed distinctly more skittish than the ones I am used to further south (e.g. Wakodahatchee)

All comments/critiques welcomed. My opinion is that perhaps it could use a little more contrast, and I wish the bill was not lost against the foot. But I liked the pose and the 'who's that in the mirror' effect... It's not as sharp as I would have liked and the crop is a bit of a cliche.....

Nice! Maybe more room on the left and less on the right. Contrast looks good here.

The reflection sure makes it pop. Contrast and color look OK.

Not bad, Richard!
I like the 'who's that in the mirror' look too ...

I agree with the others on the nits. What I like most is the feeling that I get.......a little guy seeing himself in his reflection!!!
