Another image from a recent Duckshop with EJ. Thought this fit within our recent, unofficial "cool water backgrounds" theme. 8)

This is really a great shot. Everything about it works. I really like the softness of the BG, the reflection and colors in the FG.

You did really well! Another excellent shot. I might consider the Highlight/shadow tool top bring up the image in brightness without blowing the whites.

Beautiful image. Selective sharpening would have reduced the halos around the top of the bird.

Thanks folks!

EJ, it was given a healthy dose of S/H. :)

Sandy, Dang, I didn't even notice those halos! And I'm usually so anal about them. Don't know how they got past me - must've been a late night/early morning or maybe it's time for new glasses. FWIW, I did use selective sharpening - on just the duck. Maybe that's where I went wrong. Maybe I was sloppy in my selection of the duck. Thanks for pointing them out!

Cheers, everyone!

I love this- very moody with "that look" and the softness of the water.

Would place the bird a little right making it off centered and back off the sharpening bit ...
Otherwise a very nice shot!
