Hey Rob... I like it alot. Wow, the breeding colors are much better than any we are seeing up here. Was this taken in the last couple of weeks? Guess a La Jolla trip is in order! Love the "whimsical" feel. :)

Love this pose. You have to be patient while they preen to get something like this. I have similar shots but the eye is closed or the bill is coming toward me at a strange angle. This is one of the better I have seen of this behavior. Sharp as heck and a lot of excellent detail.

Very well done. You nailed a fantastic pose. This is one in the out of the box awards which is well earned. The composure, pattern and amazing bright colors really make this spectacular.
Keep them coming.
Now is the time for a La Jolla visit.

Rob, this is a real treat with the bright colours and great pose. La Jolla in January/February goes on my list. Well done!

He's giving you the finger, Rob. Or as he would say, "The tip of the beak."

Excellent shot. It's rare to get a wide open eye on images like this.

Rob, Love this one! It's the pose, the colours that make this one. Super.
