Nashville Warbler

Nikon D500, Nikon 500mm F5.6 pf
ISO 640, 1/1000s, F6.3

This male Nashville Warbler is intent on finding food in a small boreal looking spot in an extensive wooded area. The chestnut marking on top of the male's head is not often seen as it does not show up well in a more normal pose.

Oh this is really nice, I'm not sure I knew they had that chestnut patch! I like that you can see the one eye with the slight head turn. Pretty setting as well.
