Nikon D850, Nikon 500mm F5.6 pf
ISO 320, 1/800s, F6.3 This will be my final posting of a Blackburnian Warbler for this year, as it's too easy for me to become addicted to this species, LOL. In this image he is establishing it's breeding territory in one of several very tall mature hemlock trees. In this instance, the tree is at an overlook where the top is only a few feet higher than where I was standing, thereby giving me a good opportunity to photograph him singing its territorial song. Please click for higher resolution. |
