Atlantic Puffin on the cliffs of Westfjords, Iceland. This is an amazing place to view seabirds. It is also quite crowded and very dangerous. The birds are on at least an 80 m cliff; the edge is roped off with a single strand of 1 cm rope which wouldn't hold anybody if they slipped. It is virtually impossible to get at a eye level and many of the birds are obstructed by grass and other plants. This was taken during the second week of June 2021, before the eggs have hatched. In fact nest making was occurring as we were watching.
