Canon 90D
Tamron 150-600 @ 500mm F8 @ 1/1000 ISO 1250 Spring and summer resident- long distant winter migrant to South America. Kingbirds are usually seen near trees or fences adjacent to open fields, from which they fly out to catch larger flying insects. Despite the fact that they don't have any vivid colouration, ( they have a reddish crest which is usually concealed), they always look striking, in their own way. Province of Ontario, Canada, image- June 2021. Thanks to all for viewing and commenting. Click on for best image. |
