I'm normally not a high-key fan; I'd much prefer puffy clouds against a pastel sky.  But, if he's just going to hang there. . . .

This is so beautiful. Love the high-key here. The yellow bill makes the bird stand out with that high-key frame. Love it.
I am waiting for them to return to our shores - hopefully soon.

I too prefer the type of sky you suggested. However, you did a terrific job on this high key shot. As you related, if it presents itsel you have to take it and work with it later. Well done.

I'm not a hi-key fan either, Craig - but the simplicity and use of negative space is stunningly beautiful! This would make a gorgeous print that would grace any wall. Love it!
