Ron,
Thanks.  I was putting my gear in a blind when I saw a few Quail approach the pond.  Two Cardinals flew to the perch and I said to myself: well maybe.  Turned the camera on while picking it up and took two images of the interaction.  Luckily the settings and exposure were just about perfect.  Just dumb luck.

Just commenting as I was away for a couple of days. Terrific interaction between the three birds. My first thought was....it looks like a wedding of two Cardinals being officiated by the Quail !!
