I would prefer a little more room all round, if you have it but what a lovely capture of this handsome drake coming in to land!

Thanks Carol. I think it’s my past training as a newspaper photographer were space mattered most, for the tight crop. ;)

A very uncommon image of a common duck. Really like the overall positioning which shows the curved wings, the fanned out tail and both feet very well. Terrific detail as well.

Very nice image, Jeff. Great detail shown on the Mallard, plus the light on the bill and wingtips , looks excellent, as well.

Really a beautiful image for this subject, it is good to see the colors of this species so sharply and clearly.
