HE RESTED ON HIS FIRST PERCH FOR ABOUT 2 HRS AND THEN HE DECIDED TO BE VERY ACTIVE, SECOND PERCH TO CATCH HIS NEXT-MEAL AND FULLY ALERT AT THAT.

Great alert pose. The few I've seen always seem so sleepy during the mid day but then, later in the afternoon, it's like a switch goes off and it's time for hunting.  You were fortunate enough that you were there when the switch went off and you captured it very well.

Another wonderful owl image, Peter! The eyes of course, are stunning! The light snow, adds an extra element to your background, as well.

The wide-open eyes really draw me into this beautiful image, Peter. The snowy setting is perfect for showcasing this Boreal Owl. Top-notch!
