A local urban pond which is full of Duckweed, a harmless water plant. It makes for a nice setting.

Terrific use of the duckweed complimenting the colors of this beautiful duck, Love the head turn and the corresponding iridescence.

The colors in the head show nicely. If you click on you could see detail in the white as well.

Perfect exposure and I like the setting. It’s nicer than plain water

Perfect exposure in the soft light for this tricky plumage, and a beautiful view of this handsome drake motoring through the duckweed, Dan!

Beautiful shot. Gotta love the incredible color you’ve managed to capture in the head.

What a colourful delight. Head iridescence capture expertly. A full reflection is often sought out but I think in this situation the partial head reflection works even better, less of a distraction.
