We were lucky today. I spotted a big ship coming towards
the Ship Canal, and started walking as fast as I could.
Arrived in time when the ducks started taking off.
This is one of the images.

Nice pose and a look from the duck...
Just an observation, this frame does not look at all as good as your Nikon shots.
Maybe just a one time thing.
I have no equipment bias..
Being there is the most important thing.
