Once in a lifetime kind of image at least for me.
The female just landed with a food item in the tree having their nest in, and the male left his post and was having something to say.
The amazing part is that despite the fact I focused on the female, the male was sharp on two frames out of three.

This has turned into a fantastic series, Karl. Getting both birds sharp and in focus is amazing. Add in the insect, and you have a great story-telling image.

I included the original after converting it from RAW to tiff and then to jpeg, just in case.
Thanks.

Great behavior shot-wonderful to get them both in focus! I wonder what the male had to say! It's so wonderful to watch these family events. :)
