First day three of them came with the mother. Interestingly they loved to feed on orange being put out for the Orioles.
This juvi is at the front garden feeding on an orange. The background is a shrub having red leaves and yellow flowers.

Outstanding, Karl! An extraordinary shot of an “ordinary” subject. Sharp, nice comp, but to me, the bg makes this image. I was thinking I’d like to see it with a slightly more oof bg, but I see you’re already shooting wide open - and yet rendered the subject well detailed. Fine job.

Karl, an excellent shot of this juvenile with sharp detail and a beautifully colored background. Well done!

Stunning capture of this youngster, Karl! Sweet pose, superb detail and that background is a work of art! Love it!
