EARLY THIS WEEK WE RECEIVED A DUMPING OF ( 20 PLUS cm OF SNOW  ) THIS WAS THE FIRST ONE TO START OUR WINTER MONTHS BUT GOING TO THIS ONE SPOT THERE WAS AT LESS 100 SNOW BUNTING'S AND 30-50 HORNED LARK AT THIS LOCATION, MY LUCKY DAY.

From this bird's leaning-forward posture and the raised foot, I can feel the cold, Peter. The grasses behind the bird break up the snow and are a nice touch. Very nicely done.

This is beautiful, Peter! I love the little lark with its dainty feet, and long shadow, the delicate grasses in the background snow add the icing on the cake. Wonderful image!
