Wow! Great capture. Could be New Mexico, as we have had at least one lake overtaken by goldfish. Now Game and Fish stocked Muskies to control them. Maybe we need more Ospreys.    :D

Karl, It must be pretty easy to find such a highly colored fish. Nice image.

Karl, I didn't know that you know very well the Photoshop; just joking. Very nice frame you have Karl. The fish looks like a toy.

This is where the "toy fish" came from.

Without question the largest gold fish I’ve seen. And in the talons of an Osprey. Amazing image, Karl. Excellent work.

Wow- huge goldfish! A very unusual catch! Curious -was it in a pond or lake? Very colorful photo- nice find!

Thanks, Cindy.
It is the very end of Grindstone Creek, in a way it is already part of Burlington Bay which is part of Lake Ontario.
It is a popular place this time of the year, people spend whole day, day after day, hoping for a touch down
that rarely happens. The most challenging of all the shootings I have ever done.

So strange to see these two species juxtaposed to one another... I can't tell if it is a giant goldfish or a tiny osprey ... LOL
The photo is a cool shot because of the contrasting colors and the goldfish's unfortunate mode of transport... truly unique capture!
